Video card/monitor suggestions?
 

Hey,

Right now, I've got an AMD 1.8ghz machine. Its lacking in RAM, video card and monitor. I'm going to get World of Warcraft, but this thing doesnt play it too well. My other computers do nicely though.

Its got a Geforce3Ti500 in it right now. What can you suggest for a better AGP video card at 150-200 bucks? Also, I need a monitor. I'm looking for a 19" CRT. Whats a good one?

ATI x800 pro, might be around 200 or so now if you shop around, check google or something

i remember it was 300 at microcenter which was fine if i didnt have to TAKE IT FUCKING BACK CUZ MY COMP IS A WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT.... -1 to me for having such a shitty computer and having to read about how much fun hl2 is

No need to seriously outdo the CPU. This machine wont get any more upgrades besides the ones I mentioned.

I'm looking at the Radeon 9800 Pro 128. Good card? I have a 9500 pro in my other computer and it does well. Its about $150.

Get a 9800 Pro

9800 Pro for $200 or spend $50 more and get a 6800(vanilla) for $250ish.
