Audio editor
 

I need a program that can take out background noises/voices well etc., along with the basic stuff. Most of the ones I've tried are [img]http://www.groundforce1.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_oOo.gif[/img], right now I have GoldWave, but I figured there's got to be a better one out there. Any recommendations?

Is Audacity any good?

ADOBE AUDITION , supposedly can do it, im not to much of an expert with the program though.

audacity is good if you know what you're doing. the freebee demo only lets you save as .wav though.
