I tried quitting itunes, i am not running anything other than itunes. help!

restart iTunes. then eject it.

damn that would usually work with windows. just take the iPod out. it says stuff may get corrupted but it rarely ever does. but try other stuff before doing that

Start>My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View>Select "Show hidden files and folders"
