Buying games online

If you were to buy a game online, would you go with amazon? ebgames? other stores or you would prefer to drive / walk / crawl to the nearest retail store?

Amazon is usually $15-20 higher in price than if I were to go to the local EB or Futureshop for some reason. I don't think i've ever bought a game off the net, although i buy a lot of music and dvd's and such from amazon/ebay.

For games i'd probably just go to the store.

I often get my games/dvds from play.com. any other time i just go to the local shop

Usually buy them online from "game".

I'd only buy a game from the internet if they'd have a good deal on the game I was looking for, and if I was willing to wait or not. If I'd buy from anywhere on the internet, it would likely be Amazon.ca

If I were to buy from a store I'd just go down to futureshop.

I thought about buying a game like Half Life 2 online, but then i figured its a lot safer just going to the store paying cash instead.

Plus, then you have to pay shipping/handling sometimes and then wait a couple days for the game to get to you.

EBgames is good for all the extras, like when you preorder and stuff, but Amazon is much quicker and the prices are the same.
