2nd Job Choices
As most of you dont know, i work an overnight job 40 hours a week. For most this would mean sleeping the day away. However i dont sleep all that much leaving me with an over abundance of free time to sit on my ass doing nothing. Most would enjoy this free time, i do not. I dont like feeling this lazy, let alone actually acting this lazy.
Naturally i've been pondering for some time about filling my day time hours with a second job. This should be a simple task right, walk in to a bunch of places and fill out an application. The problem here is that im not exactally a nice person, with a fairly low tollerance for most of the population, kids taking the cake. I have worked retail as a salesman and can most times cover my hatred for others long enough to clear a shift. That was in the past, im far more filled with intollerance and hate than i was back then. To cut this down, what are some places i can work 20 hours a week with a fairly regular schedule. With the stipulations that i should probably enjoy going to it, or atleast like something about it. I come to you since i cant really think of many jobs where i have minimal interaction with people, so try to keep that in mind. |
landscape company, they will throw you on a mower for the day (seasonal of course)

Fluffer in Van Nuys...

Are you a work-a-holic? oOo:
I never knew you to be a scumbag towards people...i'm quite suprised.
Anywho, ever think of a store greeter? That should break you from your bad dealings with people !! biggrin: |
I know what your feeling. You could be work at a grocery store. Their are lots of neat things you can do that don't involve people.
Start your own business that doesn't involve people.

janitor? i dunno what job involves little people skills. in my free time, i just go to a gym. it works, plus can help get a good night's sleep
Noctis's idea seems to be the best, although working at grocery store would be pretty slick.
staples like nyck
Yeah, i agree some sort of "Stocking" job would be good. Don't have to deal with people that much.
the UPS thing is good, I did that part time for a while and it pays well for a PT job and you get insurance!
Then you can do a TV show like "King of Queens" in your own town.
