Whole back end of the m-60 even down to the feeding system is ripped off from the mg-42. Mg-42 wasn't stationary either, as for accuracey, it was a lot more accurate than people give it credit for, its still held in regard as probably the best machinegun ever made.

I think it is one of the best machineguns ever made.
