DVD RW's

The guy at future shop kept bugging me to buy DVD R instead of RW because he said That the quality would get worse each time I burned it again. I just dismissed his opinion as he is only a future shop employee but was it true? will my movie quality suffer each time I burn?

I don't own one but he's probably full of mad dogs shite. When it comes to pc equipment 99% of the oOo:s working there havn't a fucking clue.

Lot of difference from digital media to a vhs, thats like saying a hard drive gets worse after formatting.

Future Shop/Best Buy are a bunch of fuckin tards. I just research my purchase before hand, so i dont have to take those retards advice.

geRV 02-12-2005 03:03 PM

Pretty much any store with pc's is stocked with tards, i questioned a guy one time about the fsb on a pentium 4 and he started drooling from the side of the mouth..well not really but i got a blank look as if to ask wtf. eek:

ive never had much luck with cdrws for some reason .. i have some but rarely use them ...i think i use one or two over and over again to write small shit to to transfer from comp to comp...

not really sure how you would use dvdrw ... its not like you would burn a move that you might wanna write over later ... i dont see myself doing that ... if you wanted to use it for storage ( data ), maybe.

I don't collect movies so I have no need for a permanent copy. I find it useless to have a DVD or a CD that you can only use once but costs the same as a CD or DVD that you can burn thousands of times. That especially applies to DVD's because their so pricey.

Judas 02-12-2005 03:25 PM

watch newegg for dvdrs ... theyve been running specials on them for about 40bucks for a spindle of 100 ... 1/2 of what they cost at staples.

ive used a few dvd-rw's, after a while they crap out and nothing will be able read them. i have went through 3 dvd-rw's and all of them are coasters now, they can be read at all. i find it better to just buy the 100 spindle no-name dvd-r's. plus if i dont keep the movie, someone is allways willing to take from me.

that is so true. i went to a tiger direct outlet store cuz i needed a 120mm case fan for my friends machine i was building. i always get my stuff online but i figured i could spend 10 dollars on a fan, no big deal. so naturally, on the shelf they have every case fan except 120mm's. so i ask one of these geniuses for a day "where are your 120mm case fans?" and he says "dude, you dont use 120mm fans for cases."

i was like eek: and oOo: then i was annoy: then cuss: then stupid: then i needed to

calmdown: then i went home and ordered the fan online hake:
