Just signed my life away.

Yesterday I decided to go to the RAF careers office, and ended up signing up for the Informations and Communications systems specialist trade. I have my initial exam on 3rd March (alot of logic, maths, electronics etc), having passed this exam, I will then go for an Interview and then a Medical, having passed both of these I would then go for my final selection interview and then be given a date for my basic training.

I should be able to pass all interviews and exams pretty easily but was told I need to put on 2 stone. cry: . I already eat alot but no matter what i eat I never put on weight, so i've been recommended to go to the gym and get some protein drinks.

Good luck. Hope you do well. And remember whenever you're in doubt in combat always follow by this principle:

"Run away so you can live to run away another day"

go to the gym and work out. muscle weighs more than fat so that will definently help.

Another fly boy! I joined the U.S. Air Force back in November. I should either be getting an Intelligence or Weather job, we shall see. Anyways, good luck with that. +1 for the right branch! biggrin:

Are you going to be enlisted, ro do you want to be an officer? Also how long is RAF basic training? Is it very tuff?

ninty 02-16-2005 12:58 PM
