nostalgic problems
 

ok, so i felt like playing some old games a few days ago. i took out an old favorite, thief 2, popped it in and installed it. now, when i click to play it, the screen goes black and then i get one of those retarded error messages asking if i wasnt to send an error report (which i have sent a few..not that that does anything) anyway, can anyone explain why this is happening? alex(headup) says that the computer has problems with open gl and my dad says thief runs on the quake system and so on. i am quite behind in technology and am quite the bum when it comes to money, so when i get the chance i am going to upgrade my graphics card from a nvidia geforce 2 to a GeForce4 Ti 4600...$40.0. but that's for my newest purchase: thief three.


so, the main problem for thief 2 is not the graphics card, but something else, with the little amount of information i have provided can someone provide an explaination to my problem?

Look around this forum, i have thief 1 and 2 but can never be bothered to work out how to get them working. You have to install some patches ,etc.
Shame, as they're some of my all time fave games......good luck

I bought resident evil for PS used for 7.99 today to play on my PS2 and I got the directors cut even though I had the old box. dance:

Try downloading any patches for the games.
