Did I miss something?

There are no China VS MEC maps but that's easily moddable. I'm working on a SP mod for that now.

But yeah, I'm really disappointed about the lack of coop. I mean, WTF, they have bots in each of those maps in SP.

I went to Target and EBGames to get it. EB didn't even get any yet and Target hasn't unpacked theirs yet so were going back at 3.

Yeah, Gamestop's shipment of BF2 got pushed back to tommorow, but even if they got the shipment today they wouldn't have unpacked it because the official release is tommorow. I'm not going to get it there though, I'll try Walmart or Sams Club. I got a giftcard there, and plus I'll get like 4.67 or some shit off retail price!

Adding more bots to SP doesn't work
Chinese get older weapons than the MEC
Chinese seem out of place in general

Still looks pretty good. A DC style mod or Silent Heroes should be very sexy on this engine. Same with a WW2 mod though the commander mode might be a bit too powerful for that.

In all the interviews the chinese were meant to have all this uber new weaponry most of which hadn't been deployed on the battlefield in real life yet. One of their guns reminds me a shitload of the famas rifle, their helo seems to be pretty much the same as the mec helo as well. oOo:


I would have preferred european forces to be put into the game as well, that battlefield modern combat incorperates a euro side, be nice rolling around in a challenger or a leapord 2 tank along with some of the better attack coptors that would have been available.

Still yet to play full version, holding out on my copy arriving instead of dloading it. dance:

Gerv had a good point to put European peeps in...i like that idea.

SIngle player pisses me off...12 maps, only conquest and is on'y a 16 player map so you can't play bigger maps, which pisses me off.

Only 10 maps in SP. They're pretty weak since it only adds 15 bots and the change that worked in the demo seems to do nothing in the full.

Amusingly, the bots will steal the blackhawks just like in DC, except now they can fly them. They won't pick you up with them sadly.

Sounds a little disappointing but I still want it.
