180 Emails over the weekend - ALL VIRUSES!
Starting last week, I've been receiving e-mails by the MailScanner saying that I've send an e-mail and it might contain a virus, and it sends them to names in my domain.
Well, I've been getting about 10 a day till friday. This weekend I received over 180 and some e-mails were directed to admin, administrator, service, support, register, webmaster (all of those with lasamericasherald.com domains) and those e-mails all had viruses. I've ran my virus scan and deleted any posible virus, and I'll be having e-mails send to me having to be verified by one of the options my host has. Is there anything else I should do to prevent this, or even halt it for as long as possible? Is really getting on my nerves ... thanks for any help you guys give me. |
Turn your computer off, go outside, and chase girls for a week.

After following your steps my problem has not ceased. I have not only received STD’s but my Outlook is over flown with viruses. It seems that it has exponentially grown, and there’s no way to stop it. Luckily my Virus protector has caught all viruses and terminated them, however I’m afraid that one might go through undetected. My Anti-virus has created a folder on Outlook to send all emails by the MailScanner and e-mails from my domain, to easily delete them. However, about 80 of the 4590 emails that I received overnight, were not automatically caught so I had been running my Anti-Virus and Ad-Aware continually.
My Host provider said is taking efforts to stop this, but if they don’t I guess I’ll go to a bigger provider. lol is that formal enough. |
Sorry dude, I thought that would help.
