Norton Internet Security

haha I'm creating all sorts of problems.

Norton Internet Security.. when its enabled I can't go on the internet, but as soon as i disable it, it is fine. Before I reinstalled Norton it could be enabled and i was still able to browse the internet. Can anybody help me?

maybe you have really strict settings enabled?

in your personal firewall options try setting you internet to be allowed. if that doesn't work, i'm not sure.

also before, when i disabled it a allitle red "x" would appear over the icon, now even after i re-enable it, and the program is running, the red "x" remains

I had the x problem before, only way i got it to fix itself was to reinstall.

your internet problems seems like your firewall is blocking your internet applications.

well I've been looking and I can't find how to edit my firewall settings

personal firewall > configure > programs

althought i don't know which version you have. that was for 2005. i think 2004 is a little different.

Why don't you use AOL, which not only blocks SPAM, but also VIRUSES!!!!
