are you a lone wolf or a squad member or squad leader ?

i usually play as a squad member

Usually on my own and that goes for vehicles as well, fucking can't stand it when im in a tank or a helo and i get killed along with some nublet manning the other gun who feels the need to cry about it.

squad. playing alone sucks.

Commander if I know I have a good team, and mostly squad leader. I hate lone wolfs.

Squad member or solo-squad leader if I can't find a good squad. Commander is boring unless you're on a 64 server.

I was commanding in a 64 person server last night that ran nothing but 16-player maps before I got auto-switched and I'll tell you what artillery is very useful in thoose kinds of servers.

I find commander mode pretty boring nomatter how many are playing, seems theres either nothing to do or too much to do.

loaner, Special forces. I go for the artillary first then go to steal the helo on the ship freak:

i always join squad as soon as i get on a server. depending on map ill either whore the assault chopper/ go squad leader and have people spawn on me in a blackhawk (works like a charm on some maps)...

when i join a squad i look at the kits used/look at map and then end up as anti-tank/medic or engineer....ive been whoring the anti-tank class a ton lately. i feel like a matador in a ring full of bulls rock:

I've been whoring AT too. Shooting down helos is fun. Yesterday I downed a MI8 in one hit due to hitting the pilot straight on and killing him.

Pity you can put 2 missiles into a tank and not get a kill assist when someone else finishes it with 1, though.

Does that work with tank shells? I find it utter bullshit that it takes 2 direct hits from any tank to take out a helo, hit em with one they start smoking, next thing is you get spammed with missiles and nubbed. [img]http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gerald.marley/Smilies/gay.gif[/img]

Probably, however the hit box is tiny. I've only been able to do that twice so far. You really only have success when they're stupid about the damage or if you can hit them while they're running. A TOW will also do a lot of damage to them. Depending on where it hits I can usually take out an AH-1 with a single TOW. You can also use the 12.7mm MGs but it's very rare you'll be there for longer than 30 seconds before some nub takes off with the car.

I was shooting at one today with the abrams .50 cal it ended up flying away. So i hop out to repair my tank, some nub comes running up to take it, i hop in and swing the barrel, slaps him straight up the head and kills him. [img]http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gerald.marley/Smilies/lol_hit.gif[/img]

Seems to be effective for helo's as well, ive got quite a few kills on spec ops guys when i was on the ground and spinning my roter up, they come running to try to plant c4, so i sent the helo into a spin and kill em with the tail. biggrin:

I hate it when that happens, seems to be mainly your own team that do it, just because they want the heli.
