Hello Guys, this is for all moders. you guys always talkin about realism so pleae make this happen although i think it will quiet difficult. To give the game more fun it would be a lot helpfull if u guys create a mod where the grenades leave a hole in the ground. This way there is always new covering places in the game. And i would love to see a game with about 32people fighting eachother from a couple of holes only a few meters away. Thats how the war in the trenches was like.

you'd need a stack of grenades to make a decent hole in the ground. you can't do that without the geo-shape or whatever crap like in red faction which you could make holes and tunnels in terrain but to do that you would need the SDK. would be pretty cool to blow a hole in a bunker with a bazooka though. maybe once the SDK is released.

That's more of a architecture issue more than a mod issue. If you ever heard of the game, "Red Faction" you should know it was built with Geo-Mod technoligy, which allowed players to blow up, basically, anything they pleased.

Therefore, I would have to say it will be almost impossible for this to happen. UNLESS, someone makes the ground into breakable glass. You can change the glass to look like sand, so it breaks, hence, a crater.

This is impossible to do with the current 3d engine.

You cannot alter the arcitecture of a map created in this way.

No SDK would give you that much power.

Nice idea, and one I've always thought would be fun, but sadly you'd have to re-write the entire game to incorporate this feature.
