What's up with the medals under a persons name on this name? Did they pick up an important document in a submarine or something? How can I earn them?

The medals are based on the number of posts. for each 10, 50 , 100, you get medals. There are other medal above these but they are a long way off http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif

The more posts you make, the more metals you get. 1 per post. You also go up in rank. (Private, Corporal, Seargent) NO PFC THOUGH, WTF MAN?!
