just took a look at this today ... pretty awesome.

... ill be buying a ibook soon. im pretty damn impressed with macs overall and think they bring sophistication and elegance to computing pcs cant even touch. not to mention the os seems to be unix based.

ps: i use this http://www.redchairsoftware.com/anapod/ , to manage my ipod. its pretty leet .. first piece of software ive bought in many many months.

Although what apple has done over the last 5 years is nothing short of amazing in terms of product design and marketting, I'm just too familiar with windows to go with a mac

Judas 09-07-2005 02:08 PM

^^ i thought much the same but youd be super suprised how quickly youll pick up on using one. they ui is sooo much more intuitive, and pretty than win xp.

Thats what I DONT want though. I dont want something that a grandma can operate easily. I want a powerful, complicated OS that may take years to master, but once you get it, its perfect. Might sound wierd but I've been on computers since '88 when I was 2, been on windows since the eariest versions, I just dont want to throw all that power and knowledge away and switch to a mac. Plus all the software conflicts etc...
