Problems: I can't play Starship Troopers on divx or WMP.

What I Tried: Orignally I could get video, but no sound. So I googled the error divx gave me and got a link to an audio codec called "AC3" which now wont let me even watch it without crashing WMP and/or divx.

try uninstalling the codec and divx the restart and try reinstalling

How do I uninstall the codec?

Ok nevermind, I got it to play again. Now it seems I have an audio channel problem. I'll hear music and loud noises but I can't hear what people are saying, and it's kinda quite.

it might be a decoder that does not sync well with both the vid card and sound card

Nevermind fixed, played it in VTC with Mono sound it worked fine.
