How can I boot people off my server when I don't want them there? (i.e. Team Killing, whining about no rockets, nade spam, etc.)

krazyklown 02-13-2002 01:44 AM

I wouldn't want to play on your crappy server, anyway. NO ROCKETS N NADES. Sounds like a server for people with no skill.

Actually I think he's trying to get RID of the people who COMPLAIN about others who use the rockets etc ..I think.. He's not kicking the ones who use them, just the ones who complain.

Anyway, at the console (or RCON console) use:

Kick
-or-
ClientKick

<usage>:

kick playername
rcon kick playername

clientkick slot#
rcon clientkick slot#

Do you follow ?
If not, go to the GUIDES section and check out the DEDICATED SERVER AND RCON guide.

Good Luck

Yes, those that complain over and over and over and over about the way everyone plays. I have never played a single match when someone didn't complain

Whenever I host a game I never get people who whine, I'm so lucky. I always host Omaha games with anti-rocket mod and anti-allies sniping mod. Not once has someone whined! http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

And about booting: just so you know, the "kick <playername>" command doesn't work with people who have spaces in their name for some reason. You'll have to type "status" in the console to find their user # and then use "clientkick <user #>" instead.
