[quote:b80b1] Bush 'caught short' at UN summit It's a situation anyone could find themselves in - having to answer the call of nature in the middle of an important meeting. But when you are the US president, at a gathering of more than 150 world leaders, it is even more tricky. While talk at the UN world summit was focused on terrorism and internal reform, George W Bush appeared to have been caught short. And, he is said to have turned to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for advice. "I think I may need a bathroom break? Is this possible?" a Reuters news agency photographer caught him writing in a note to Ms Rice. The photograph, and Mr Bush's apparent request for permission to pee, has been the subject of discussion on a number of satirical websites. President Bush was among monarchs, presidents and prime ministers for the opening of the three-day summit, marking the 60th anniversary of the UN. In a speech, he urged the UN to pursue meaningful reforms to allow it to meet modern challenges and said the US was committed to helping overcome poverty. Last year for the November ceremonies, Brit version of Veterans Day, I was in the guard of honour for the Royal Navy. I had the whole funky uniform with a big black coat & white garters & a sa-80 with bayonet. We were marched to a huge WW1/2 memorial on a hillside & we had to present arms & wait for 10 minutes or so in respect to the fallen. Everyone was there, the press, admirals, veterans, the mayor & all these really really important people. I was in the centre of this guard of honour, there were only about 8 of us & OMG, did I have to pea! oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo:
I remember thinking to myself "OMFG im gonna piss my pants right infront of all these admirals and the fukin news cameras and the veterans, I can see the headlines now, Sailor pisses his pants on memorial day!" Needless to say, I haven't taken part in any marching or ceremonies since that put me off big time rolleyes: I managed to just about get through it tho, I was shakin quite a bit, I just fixed my eyes dead ahead on the centre of the memorial & counted the time down. |

It woulda been funnier if he wrote:

It's an excuse to talk about our urinating habits, and experiences of desperately needing to pee in a sticky situation. It would have been just as funny if it were the pope writing a note to someone else or Tony Blair or any other world/religious leader asking permission to take a piss. |
Its funny though, because everyone on other hate bush websites is probably like "omfg hes so immature!" or "hes such a dumbass"
|
It's obviously a photoshopped republican propoganda photo, because we all know Bush can't read or write.
|
I just find it funny he asked permission....
