Mainly smg battles in the video, alternate fire for the smg's seems to be the ability to punch the enemy, doesn't actually show you this but its meant to say it in the hud during one of the vids./ eek:

Whens this mod due out?

so I dont get it, this is a popular mod apparently for HL2 and all they do in bump the gfx just a tad? I want to see some groundbreaking stuff. I want to see lighting and shadow afects like I see in Bf2

yeah the sound OWND. probably the best sound of any game ive played yet.... i dont understand these game developer guys. the spend MONTHS on a game and then invest what sounds like a day deving the sounds... bf has the shittiest sounds known to man.

the .50 cal looks cool

The thompson compared t the current dod has been improved on a lot, the one in game now looks like a toy, the one in the vids looks pretty real. Dod source comes with hdr effects as well, far as i kow it has the same lighting and shadow efects as hl2 or cs source.

The 30 cal looks like a chode.
The uniform textures look bland, and detailess.

Everything else looks cool, the MG-42 sounds kickass.
