Weird Problem

For as long as I can remember, Since I've had this computer.. It has always been really fast, In games or just doing normal loading stuff.. But for like the past 2 days, I have noticed that everything has slowed down. IE, Games, Everything really. I dont know what to do, I have defragged run Norton the whole works, I can't seem to get this up to where it was before.. What could this problem be?

No clue about your problem, but why not just system restore.

I don't really browse the web for porn. I have about 3 sites I "Visit", that don't have Pop-ups or anything.

oOo:

Try Ad-aware.

Hit ctrl alt del and check task manager to see how many/which processes you have running and if some are spiking and using a lot of your CPU. That's if you have anything bad running.

Otherwise get adaware or some spyware remover and run it.

This is going to sound stupid....but you tried restarting right?

Sometimes I think my comp is running slow, and I always try other things, but a restart always fixes it. Start at the basics.

That wont actually do anything, a simple restart clears everything in your memory. Turning it off "for a while" is pretty useless.

Sometimes if my comp is so FUBAR i will actually "leave it off for awhile" just because i want to believe it will work..when i know it wont...its like a false sense of security.
