How many mods actually came out for HL2 anyway? did they mostly drop off the radar?

SP mods take longer than MP mods. Thats why only maps have come out so far, I havent seen any SP mods with new enemies and characters, as well as a campaign, yet.

MP mods do indded take a much longer time. Plot development + gameplay is a very hard thing to do. When you have a large group of people, spanning all across the globe, its gonna take a while for things to get across.

And by the time you finish it...no one gives a flying fuck because the next game comes out. For example. BHD mod for MOHAA or German front mod for COD
