Need VidCard Help!
 

What does it mean, when...

I was playing BF2 and it locked up...so I had to hard restart...everything in dos displayed...so I know the card isnt dead...but when it loads windows, I see nothing...I can hear the sound..but I see nothing...any help would be great.

take out the battery on the motherboard and then put it back in after 5 seconds

bf2 section?...what server do you play on?

im pretty sure thats being caused by a conflict in vid cards, im assuming you put in your sweet xmas present, you should be able to boot windows in safe mode, and go to the device manager, make sure your new card is activated and that its the only one thats active

Ah, okay...thank you...what I did though was just re-install windows...no format or anything...just re-installed windows...thanks for your help bros...

yeah la cant is good stuff, probably one of the better running servers out there. i ve tried a few others running 50 person and they are laggy as fuk...

Nyck, all it was, was the conflict...as Headup said...so this POS ATI card is back in all its fastness! rock:

never had a single problem with ATI cards

I think what the problem was...is that I kept messing with the settings, etc...and it somehow was reading nvidia settings or something...im not really sure...but it all works great now...so im happy!

ive had problems with nvidia ... <3 ati.
