N.J. lawmakers vote to suspend executions
Read this [url=http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/01/10/newjersey.executions.ap/index.html:26f85]story[/url:26f85] before replying.
What I want to know is if there hasn't been an execution since 1963, why do they need a task force to study the fairness and costs of imposing the death penalty? How much of the taxpayers money will this study take? I mean just abolish the death penalty, it's not like they use it (in New Jersey). After all there are only 10 cases that have been heinous enough to warrant imposing the death penalty. Change those sentences to life and be done with it. |
(why do CNN pages take so long to load?)
well I didnt wait for the page to load, Ill be dead before that happens, generaly it costs more to house death row inmates than other inmates because of the solitary confinment. If they killed them in a reasonable amount of time they would save money Ill donate a box of bullets rock: |
