appreciated help

I need help with a literature assignment and right now im having a mental block. I was wondering if you guys have any knowledge, ideas, comments on the benefits/drawbacks of having a narrow education or a braod education?

Broad = Little knowledge of everything
Narrow = Great knowledge on one subject

Do your own homework.

Its also all has to do with where you live, want to live, and want to do for a future career. Say you want to be a doctor since elemetary school, so you go to HS and colleges that dont force particular gen eds that have NOTHING to do with your career choice, say music.

But say you dont know what you want to be so you take classes in science, music, literature, history, PE etc, and you get a liberal arts degree. you likely wont get a 6 digit job, but youll ALWAYS have some knowledge of something to fall back on
