So to all the people who have said, are saying, or will say "Nuke dem' Iraqi/Iranian/Indian/Muslim sum bitches." Your wish has been granted...several times actually.

At what point do you draw the line between effectiveness of ordinance and the well being of the planet and the lifeforms that in-habit it?

Didn't the Americans use uranium tipped bullets in the gulf war? And it effected both sides, basically.

Yes, it was used in Desert Storm, Op. Freedom, and in Afghanistan.

Also, as Machette pointed out it has effected both sides. Soldiers retuning back later to only get cancer, tumors, have children born with god awful birth defects and mental disabilities, some soldiers straight up lost their ability to reproduce also. Same with the Iraqis, it's a really fucked up situation.

yes fucks up boths sides but the UK radiation jump isnt exactly fact that it is the fault of the bombings in Iraq with munitions containing depleted uranium.

Yeah, that's depleted uranium.

The number of US soldiers from the first gulf war that have died since the war ended are staggering. I'll try to find the numbers.

Machette 02-19-2006 07:04 PM

Anyone mind explaining what depleted uranium is? Never understood the difference between depleted uranium and regular uranium.

[quote:46a88]and since it, like all heavy metals, is toxic, as well as being radioactive, the facilities for processing it need to monitor and filter airborne particles.[/quote:46a88]
