ps- stalingrad was the worst map annoy:[/quote:43630] eek: Funny thing is lately ive missed mohaa myself, the mp used to piss me off with the amount of glitches the maps had and the game bugs people used to whore, It had its bugs but it was fun in its own way. Was watching some vids of it on gamespot the other day thinking holy shit we waited so long for that game and now its dead. It could possibly have still been a strong game today but ea and 2015 pised around with each other, 2015 wanted mroe input into the next moh game, ea told them to go fuck themselves so support for the game got dropped and all the bugs remained unpatched. Spearhead was really laughable though, the demo actually seemed decent then they bring out the full game and the amount of bugs was a joke, they even had that butt scoot bugwhich was a result of ea adding "pain" animations to the models. Ill never forget one of the patches the fix list said "butt scoot bug should now be fixed". Should? oOo: Theyre the ones that introuduced the bug an theyd no clue how to fix it. Was a realy good game in its day, unfortunately "politics" between 2 companies made the game die a lot sooner than it should have. Pretty bad vid, fucking ckr server obviously. annoy: |
I do have high hopes for MOH:Airbourne tho. But I fear another PA is coming instead

Pacific assault was more comical than anything, i loved shooting a guy and watching the "physics" system go nuts sending him flying a few hundred feet for no reason. Was also great being able to see enemys respawn and come and attack you. annoy: As for the multiplayer... oOo: They had like 150 people or so working on sp and 150 working on mp, and mp still turned out total bollocks, sp wasn't too good either. Games companies might figure out sooner or later that jungle terrain does not make for a fun mp experience. Even bf:nam sold like shit compared to the original. Airborne is back in the euro theatre thank god..shooting banzai'ing tojo's got boring after the first 5 seconds. Maybe this time ea can get mp right for once. ed: |

Edit: for Airbourne[/quote:1c46f] Theres an interview with ea here about airborne. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/medal ... id=6144104 id take anything they have to say about the game with a massive pinch of salt, after all pacific assault was supposed to not restrict you to predefined paths and let you do missions your own way, nothing like that was in the game but those were its big bragging points when ea announced it. |
man, I remember that. good times. still one of my favorite MPs. But freakin STG fags... and I never leaned. But I barely recognized that, I had so many mods running that my MoHAA looked completely different. And Stalingrad PWNED
