Music Gurus

I'm in a pickle. This is a little different than the average music question.

I’m putting together a PowerPoint presentation of slides of the truck we build at my work for the upcoming oil show and they want music to go with it.

I've spent 3 hours downloading and trying to find music that will fit.

What I need is some sort of instrumental background music. What I typically find is either classical music, or more electronic/trance music. While there is a lot of good music, neither are really appropriate and a lot of it I seem to find can be kind of emotional which doesn’t really work.

I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for music that I could use.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

moby does quite a few nice string/piano type tracks that might work for you.

i think the whole second hotel disk is that sort ... youve probably heard them on tv/movies before as well.

Jean Sibelius has some good classical stuff that might work for you also the William Tell overture, but that might be a lil fast paced. post some images of the slides that might help

I actually just put this page together in the last week. Before, our photo gallery contained 1 photo. happy:

The presentation is pretty much just pictures of trucks. I think we'll be running it on a loop on a TV. It's tough to match a type of music to what we do but i'll search through your suggestions.

i can personally see the frank fezishin barogue music playing or the yo-yo ma, particularly his brazil album, the others im not too familiar with

try VNV nation-forsaken, parts are nice and lowtoned, so you can focus on the presentation.

it may require some slicing and dicing though.
