Storytime from the Mall
I know a few of you live in central NY and most likely have been to Carosoul Mall near the city. I was asked by my parents to bring my little sister and her friends to the mall so they could shop and what not and I really didnt have a problem doing this, as I needed to get some new shorts. Anyways, I had totally forgot about this "curfew" at Caro on fridays and Saturdays: Anyone 18 and under needs adult supervision. They have these mall security guards in red jackets guarding all the doors. I had no problem getting in with my sister and her friends; they asked if I was 18 and I said yes. I went to visit my friend working at urban behavior and was waiting around for her to get off her break when my sister called me and told me they were "caught." I went down to pick them up and ask if they wanted to go home or something, and this fat, black, security woman came up to me and started going off. Im not talking about scolding me or anything (even though I did nothing wrong), she was SCREAMING and people were looking. She was up in my face literally pushing me. She screamed "Im throwing you out of here and Im going to try and perma. ban you!!! You arent 18, you dont look 18, you cant be 18, and you know the rules; you know you arent supposed to be here after 4 pm. You are NOT 18, so young...etc etc" I told her to chill out and asked her if she wanted to see me ID. Of course when she saw I was 18 she huffed and walked past me, but running into my shoulder, of course. I was completely baffled. It was weird though because right then a group of like 30 black kids came in and the white security guard was too afraid to ask them for ID, and the black fucking bitch just let them through. I mean, Im not racist or anything...but come on.
