PREY FTW
nuff said.
|
im gonna have to go with negative. i played doom 3 the first time around and it wasnt that fun.
|
I got the prey demo. I notice that in the Big 3 from the D3 engine, the environments, texture quality, and complete lack of regard for the sanctity of human life and the human body are present. The weapons are all similar and uninspired as well. Prey is basically doom 3 with some bullshit indian mysticism and more 3D movement, although from what Ive seen, the 3D movement is highly scripted and rigidly controlled, not a whole lot of freedom to move in a 3D environment.

Pity its not the full version that out on torrent sites.

OOOH NOES TEH SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE. Seriously its a game, what the fuck drug are you smoking to give a shit about something as retarded as that? oOo: As for the textures, been explained time and time and time and time again, if they were high res the game would require a graphics card with more like a gig of ram because each texture has 3 layers to it, all of which take up space on the graphics card memory. plzdie: |

In quake the humans are being carved up to become strogg soldiers, with doom its more or less sacrafices which you would asociate with hell and all that cult bulshit, prey is the only one ive seen so far where humans are seemingly being used to power something or other.

Ive got it as well, from what ive read its just an extended preview version like ign had, its meant to have a sort of boss and credits in it but still not meant to be the full version since it only lasts about 6 hours.

Hey, sounds like my type of game. I mean, i use helpless neighborhood kids to fuel my furnace. Only problem is, i'm running out of kids.
|
