i need help from the wisdom of the 14 year olds here..actually arkan would probably be better to answer this question...

So i met this chick at the bar last weekend and went back to her place and got my groove on and all. Turns out she has a 2 year old kid. The kid was not home at the time, cause that would just freak me out. Anyway, i'm going on a pub craw this weekend and I am trying to decide if I should give her a call to come because I know 100% that it will end up good for me if you know what I mean. Thing is, I don't want her to get the idea that i'm going to start paying her child support.

So what do you do?

Take the chance for some ass, or drop it and pick up on the pub crawl?

if you dont want to be with a woman with kids, then you should let her know thats what you feel. if you want to keep seeing her and dont mind the kids then go for it. i dont know canadian law, but if you arent the parent, i doubt you will be paying child support.

just be straight and honest, she may just be looking for some guy to hang out with and not a dad for her kid. when moms start dating, they usually keep the kid away from view for their sake, not necessarily yours.

I wouldn't bail so soon, man. Don't worry about having to pay for her kid. That won't kick in until maybe after you become "common law". This would be the case if you've lived together for 6 months. Even then, I don't know if you're obligated to pay for anything.

Having said that, if you don't want a 2 year old sitting next to you at a Stamps game, screaming to go home 10 minutes into the game, then you might wanna bail.

Man, you guys give the shittiest advice. This is what Arkan would do:

Give her a call and see if she wants to hang. Just because you go out with her a few times and get your groove on, doesn't mean you want to marry her. I'm sure she needs to get out every now and again and enjoy the company of a man. If it turns out you just like her as a sex friend, treat the relationship that way. She'll realize what the relationship is based on.....there really is no need to even discuss it. Oh, one more thing. Try not to get involved with "family" things with them. Give her room when it comes to her kid. She'll appreciate that.

So, to sum things up. Just be her "outlet" so to speak, nothing more.
