Songs to play live
Ok, here's a question to ponder. If you had to pick two classic rock-ish songs to play live with a band, one being a more mainstream tune and one being relatively obscure, what would they be?
I'm going to be jamming with some guys early next month and we're all suggesting two songs to play so we don't end up going to the jam and wondering what to play. They can be older tunes or newer ones; just rock type stuff that would be good to play in a club. Think Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent, 70's classic/arena rock. Fire away! |
Stranglehold- Ted Nugent
Running with the Devil- VH |
Thin lizzy- the boys are back in town

The short list so far:
------------------------ * The Tragically Hip - I'll Believe In You (or I'll be leaving you) * UFO - Doctor Doctor * The Tragically Hip - New Orleans is Sinking * Kiss - Cold Gin * Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated * Queen - Tie Your Mother Down |
Just about anything with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They're my favorite band.

No offense, but nein...NEIN!
Well, maybe some of their older shit. "Suck My Kiss" is awesome. |

^ That could actually be pretty cool if you covered it with heavier guitars.
