Alliedassault - Bush to pardon himself for possible war crimes?

This legislation can be intepreted in some pretty dark ways. I have heard it compared to Hitlers Enabeling Act of 1933 because of some of the things in it.

What he doesn't mention that it also entails is the detainment of US citizens if they are seen as an enemy combatant.

It truley is unbelievable what the senate and house are passing. Democrats and Republicans alike have passed controvertial legislation. Anyone thinking that the Democrats are looking out for you and wouldn't let this stuff pass might want to think again. Democrat or Republican, it doesn't matter. Your republic has been hijacked.
