POST screen error
 

I friend of mine is getting a problem when loading up his pc goes into a black screen and gives his a number 2.5 which means Early PCI Initialization:
-Enumerate PCI bus number.
-Assign memory & I/O resource
-Search for a valid VGA device & VGA BIOS, and put into a C000:0

We found one solution which said action: change graphic cards or unplug card and plug card back in again, so he tried that and it was a no go.... so anyone have any ideas?

Does your friends computer have video output on the motherboard? If so unplug the video card, move the monitor to the on-board video output on the motherboard, and test to see if it will work.

he doesn't have video out, any other ideas?

Sounds like the video card is toast. Replace the video card.

It turned out to be a loose screw on motherboard.
