Ps3 vs 360 test (Do try this at home!!)
test...
xbox 360 on a hdtv vs ps3 on a standard television and vice versa. Do you think we would be able to tell a difference between the two espescially when comparing the 360 on the hdtv and the ps3 displayed on a standard television? |
Yes.

wtf

Fuck PS3 it's all about the 360 firmware hack lol
|
well 360 on an hdtv would be 1080 right? and ps3 on a standard tv would be 480. so i'm guessing xbox would look a lot better.
|
360 just got an update to allow 1920x1080 res on hdtv which is is 1080p.
Kind of a weird question though, easiest way to see the difference at home would be to set a pc game at like 640x480 (or lower) and then play it, then set it to the highest res your monitor supports and play it to see the difference. |
I want to get a 360 just for Gears of War

Why?
There are only three things in that game (based on what I’ve seen) that are new. 1. You can lean around walls. 2. The sprint camera, which is ridiculously gimmicky and superficial. 3. Nice graphics. The best I’ve seen in video game actually. I’m sure it will sell really well and get great reviews. But imo it’s just a typical American console shooter; lots of gore, lots of explosions nice graphics and no substance. |

uh...both would look better on HDTV my bet...especially after playing nhl 07 on a wicked tv compared to my one downstairs.

i pick what i buy based on the games, not the system. to me, ps3 will have better games, so ill buy a ps3..

And i dont see how you can pick between systems based on games, both systems usually have the same fucking games, except for the "Only for" games, which both consoles have their own cool "only for" games. |
