How often do you get drunk?
 

Im just completely curious. As a freshman college student, I get drunk 3-4 times a week, depending on how much work I have to do. This also applies to drugs...how often do you do them during a week? Im in Vermont....weed is second nature to use. This has been discussed before, but in my drunk state it seems like the freshest thing to hit gf1 in a long while :)

Im not trying to be cool...just seeing what the norm is. I know a few of us are in the college years...damn.

All depends on the time & location. Just about every weekend though & when I was at uni I didn't just have a little drink, I'd get wasted 5 pints or a bowl of vodka & coke + shots & bottles etc.

I don't really like drink & I generally hate just sitting around my mates house, playing ps2 and drinking for the hell of it, for me that has to be the saddest thing ever. I only drink if I'm going to go out kus it gives a little more 'dutch courage' when going clubbing. I can't dance when I'm sober...

When at a bar or meeting some girlies for drinks I only tend to have one pint as that's enough to make me just a little more sociable but still able to think very clearly & keep on my toes.

However, there are times when I've drank far to excess, notably the house parties & ibiza. Sometimes we'd be doing shots of absinthe every night, my mate Dan did a vodka shot to the eye... One bar we could drink as much vodka & coke as we wanted to for an hour. I'd do that, go puke up then go drink some more... In ibiza I was at least on half a small bottle of vodka a day, after a week or so that tends to catch up with you & combined with the hardcore late night clubbing till 7am, I'm sure It was starting to fk me up mentally. I would get so anxious I wouldn't even like waiting in a que for more than an hour or being confined in a small area with lots of people, whereas normally I'd be pretty chilled.

I don't plan on drinking & clubbing forever, I want to quit all this bs by the time I'm about 26. I think it's something you have to do when you're young otherwise you miss out on it & then feel the urge to go clubbing when you're 35 & look like a bit of a tit.

For me, I drink alot during the week, but I don't get drunk that often. On Mondays I go out to play beer pong at a bar around here. It's pretty fun, and I can usually end up winning a good amount of cash ( 200 last week and 120 this week). On Tuesdays I go out with friends to chicken wing night and I sometimes get a pitcher of beer if I'm feeling it, or just a cherry coke. Then on Thursdays I play beer pong again at a diffrent bar. I don't really get drunk, but there's been times where I have. I'd say on an average week, I drink about 4-5 days, but only get drunk maybe 2 or 3 times. It's really sad cause at age 22 there's nothing to do around here other then go to bars or parties and drink. I've tried times where I won't drink, but it's really hard considering all your friends are around you drinking and having fun, and you're the stick in the mud sober guy just watching them.

Ya that was my biggest prob too, there's sweet fa to do in my home town in Kent, you gotta be off your face to have a good time in the same old clubs for 3 years. As soon as I get the pad in London though I'm gana try & find a more healthy lifestyle & maybe take up things like squash & rowing. rock:

I must emphasise that I only drink in order to get drunk, otherwise I see no point in it. I dislike the taste of beer & would rather drink orange juice or something. I've had some great times when drunk, it's certainly something to wake up in your mates garden wondering wtf happened last night? With a union jack flag as a blanket, covered in makeup & lipstick & with chicken khourma curry stains halfway up your arm. Then you see your mate & he's completely covered in red paint from head to toe rock:

I only drink on weekends, and that doesn't necessarily mean i get drunk. i don't drink during the week.

Well it was the winter so the number of parties decreased. but since it is getting warmer there is going to be a party at our local golf course fridays and saturdays every week until winter. Then i go to college. so yeah.
