The lighting, skin detail and overall realism looks amazing. Can't wait for this to be implimented into gaming soon ed: |
Probably a few years down the line. I know the faces in crysis are meant to look pretty real but they'll only have a large LOD in cutscenes etc.

Looks a bit like Buttocks to me ed:

I'm never really impressed with these type of showcases. As Gerv said, it really doesn't mean anything until it's implemented in real-time gameplay maps. Crysis has a tech demo with a guy walking up to the camera. There's nothing else on the screen except for him, and the detail in his facial expressions and textures is amazing. However, when you see the faces of the soldiers in the real game, it still looks great obviously, but nothing compared to that demonstration.

every time i hear crysis i cringe, cause i know my shitty setup will hardly be able to run it. annoy:

I'll be building a new PC sometime after the demo comes out. My PC is about 3 years old, but I've made a few modifications to it and I can still play games like BF2 on max. |
Man, that's fucking cool. They shoulda picked a more handsome head tho...dude was hoogley.

My systems not that great since i got rid of my crossfire setup, its now an fx60 and an x1900xt in an sn25p shuttle. Might build a new one later this year or early next,

Gerv I need some advice on a cheap but reasonably powerful xfire card.
I thought you needed to buy the master and slave but I have also heard you can stick 2 xfire enabled cards in and it works is this true? |
