Didn't notice too much diff in the first vid but the second vid you can see the smoke etc reacting to the machine. eek:

Wow in the 2nd vid take a look at the ground in DX9 and then look at it in DX10. A HUGE difference.

Also in the first the difference is if you look at the treelines you can see some jaggies due to the perspective of the leaves, but that's gone in DX10.

would be easier to see if we had a side by side comparison of screens, but either way, dx9 or dx10, the game looks unbelievably amazing and i cannot wait for it.

but yeah you're right, the ground in both vids are totally different. just move back and forth in the comparisons.

The game has a certain vivid look to it, its almost like you can reach into the screen and touch it.

Theres some dx 10 benchmarks floating around of a supposed crysis (internal) benchmark showing the 2900xt laying a whooping on the gtx and gts. We've nothing to guage dx10 performance on so far, with the exception of the lost planet demo which ran like dick at higher res. eek:

that would certainly change things for ati if their cards ran better than nvidia for dx10.

Doesn't look very real but noone really knows outside of the developers at this point.

50 fps for crysis at full detail at 1600 is ok in my book.
