the leafs have enough cap room to pick up another decent player, and make a good run @ the cup this year... lets hope ferguson does not get thrifty...

and why would you pay 6 million a year for a 38 year old defensemen who averaged 51 pts a season and hasnt played a full season for the wings since signing.

when you can pay 6 million for a year for 5 years for a 32 year old who averages 45 pts a season that has played full seasons

Ottawa has enough room under the cap for 1 big name player, Murray has alot of work to do and so far I haven't seen shit from, hurry up and lock up Emery and send Gerber back to the minors.

Probably. Blake seems to be a decent scoring player, which is what the leafs need, and if they resign peca + oneil they can make things happen. Peca sets them up, Sundin and Blake put them in the net.

AND I HOPE McCabe can put his FUCKING act together this season, if he has another flop season ill officially jump on the local fuck McCabe band wagon.

Flyers could actually make some noise this year with all the players they've signed. they'll be a lot better than last year without a doubt and I wouldn't be suprised to see them in the playoffs again especially when you add leadership like Jason Smith, add scoring with Briere and goaltending with Biron.
