Hi all.
Do you have any idea what the minimum and recommended system requirements will be for the game. My Pc is: 700mhz Nvidia GeForce 2 graphics card and 128mb RAM. Do you know approximately what resolution I could run the game with it having the best lighting and effects stuff. Also do you know what resolution the E3 videos were in. Thanks. Please Reply. ------------------ Caparzo |
what kind of GeForce 2 is it ? is it 32 , 64 mb , gts or mx ?
i have a geforce2 gts 32mb , and i'm wondering the same thing . i have the same ram also . i'm planning on upgrading the ram during the summer . |
Erm I think it is MX cos I just went to properties and looked.
What is the best? ------------------ Caparzo [This message has been edited by Caparzo (edited May 30, 2001).] |
i cant say anything about the mx because i havent read about its performance and stuff but you can always check for updated drivers and stuff . i think my card "might" be able to handle this game , if it cant then i'm doing overtime this summer .

Mine will handle the game no problem but I only hope I can have it on really decent graphics.
I can have Quake 3, Serious Sam and Tribes 2 on really high res. ------------------ Caparzo |
Since I haven't reached 30 posts yet and I'm still being pestered by that blasted "Mac" quote to the left, I'll boast one last time about my PC:
P4 (1.396GHz) 128M of 800MHz Rambus (soon to be 256M) Radeon 64 video 400MHz system bus SB Live! X-Gamer 5.1 I think my PC is sweet, Mr. Mac. ;-) Dave ------------------ Thank you U.S. WWII combat veterans |
how much is ram and where's a good place to get it anyway ?
|
Depends, but if you are trying to get RAM online I recommend Crucial.com
My machine hosts 320 MB ram (64+128+128) and it's sufficent for some multitasking (photoshop, icq, several other apps running same time) on windows 2000 Pro. If you are running windows 98 and you're not too harsh on your PC (opeing lota windows, using Netscape 6.1 http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif) then 128 MB should be enough, 256 will get you almost anywhere. |
If you can run Q[III] fairly well, don't worry about the system requirements... remember : the game is built on the Q3 engine.
It can't be a radical change... it was simply modified (slightly) for new effects. Don't worry about it http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/wink.gif Re-stated : If you can play Q3, you can play MOH:AA. |
Just an addition to my previous post :
want to see the future of games ? http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif come on... you know you want to... Still here ? good ! ATi's "Truform" technology should do wonders to future games... check it out at http://gamespot.com/gshw/stories/fla...766340,00.html Screenshots included... |
