i caught this inbetween frames. Almost looks like the bandolier has been squashed up http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

yeah I thought the m1 reload anim was a little too fast

Hmm i thought that too but if you have ever played day of defeat you should know how annoyingly slow and calm it appears in that mod.

In this game they sped it up just to help gameplay. Who wants to spend 5 seconds reloading when theres 4 pissed off germans running at you attemoting to shove their bayonets up yer arse http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif

i wonder if there will be bayonets to use in the game, becuase I really like the mauser bayonet in dod 1.3

geRV 07-21-2001 10:22 AM

At a guess i would say yes. The garand can also take a bayonet so maybe http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif

that would be better if you could use the butt of the m1 rifle to strike someones head open or something, but oyu wouldnt have to be out of ammo to do it. you could use the altfire button to switch to the butt of the rifle and go up and hit people
