No cheats? I made one that overrides server-side...
 

I was discovered quite accidently while modding a BAR for a friend who wanted a scope on it that I can eliminate the recoil of the gun. The server's settings still control bullet SPREAD, and wont allow the scope or firing rate modifications, but I was able to keep a no-kickback BAR regardless of what any other the servers i tested this on dictated. (tested on about 8 of the bigger more popular servers)

I also added to the mod smokeless gunpowder and a flash supressor.

When you dump a clip your crosshair stays perfectly on target. While bullet spread is still server-side, eliminating recoil is half the battle of staying on target and it works like a charm.

Why post this? Because some people swear no cheats exist other than glitches.

I don't think anyone said there was no cheats, just no aimbots.

True rudedog, but this is to shooting what power steering is to a car. That's why it's headed to the recycle bin.

Um you do realise whether you meant it or not ,you have told me how to make this mod??????

Imagine inadvertently but anyone who has an idea bout this type of mod reading your post will instantly know what you did.

I tried it out and I actually think it's harder to play that way, you have no visual feedback on your bullet spread from your gun kicking.

I also tried to override this server-side to see if it could be put into my fixes, but was unsuccessful. I think this is one EA is going to have to fix.

Bad news. I managed to make a no recoil mod for myself, and, I must say, it works like a charm. I gave it a test run on the aa.com server. (sorry guys, that's why I was doing so well :) ) Here's a screenshot of the final scores. Notice that I had played about 5 minutes less than the other people.
