Das Boot
 

I don't know wether to post this here or in the History Forum. I'll post it here since there is more traffic here.

Anyway "Das Boot" will be shown on History Television Canada on September 7 as a part of "Sub Week". The movie is alos the directors cut so I believe it is the longer version.

I'm definitley going to check this out.

And oh yeah, right now there is a show on History Television about the Canadians in Korea. Its pretty interesting since my knowledge about Korea is limited.

Das Boot is a very long and dull movie.

yes it's a long war drama. id whatch the end and climax of the movie only, since i know the begining and middel part of the film

lol after about 30 minutes youll be bored of it.... watching a 4 hour movie taking place in a sub with alkl germans can drive any man crazy

i once decided to torcher myself and got the dvd and put it in french with no subtitles and proceded to watch it non stop. And now i find myself here.

interestedviwer... that is quite possibly the worst and most horrible thing i have ever heard... how, how could you do it? and what has it done to your mind? what do you see when you close youreyes? what do you hear in your sleep? i can only imagine....

History Channel on Canadian TV..is better cuz it is canadian...amazing

the history channel here sux. they're going thru north and south again. they repeat the same movies over and over. plus they don't show enuff war movies and whee the hell is band of brothers? atleast glodal is gonna run it and it's out on dvd in nov. and wtf is it with that idiotic history bites crap? as i type this they got in the heat of the night on. where's the historical context in that?
