Can't type message in Online game sometimes....bad drivers?
 

cry: mad: Hi im running the U.S. verison of mohaa (v1.1updated) on my XP machine (512mb ram, 1.1athlon..etc...), but for some reason, once in awhile, after typing a message here and there while online, i go to type a message again and my keyboard seems to crap out (but it's not). I can still move around and play the game..usually. It seems that the ESC key sometimes stops working so i cant exit out of the 'chat' line or other keys stop working (except the space-bar, that seems to never fail, i think). If i restart the game, (ie, go back to Windows, then start the game again), it works fine....for awhile.....

How do you access the internet? 56K, cable, etc?

im not sure, but it has been ever since iv started playing online (ie, typing messages) :(

for me, my game was working fine, then i installed some maps, then my game got screwy, and when i typed stuff in the console, different stuff would come up than what i had typed!

but i reinstalled moh and stay away from most custom maps now and i'm fine..

I had sort of a prob...
 

Yea sometimes when im in game, my ability to type letters stops and when I type only ? marks show i.e ??? ????? ????, I dont know I have to start MOH again to type or just not type. oOo: NO CLUE!

That is really odd. I haven't had an continuing issue with MOH yet, except for my problem with my run/walk key, but magically that's fixed now too.

My best suggestion to the three of you is sort out your .PK3 files, and see if their is a conflict, and if not, try doing a fresh install. You can read my tutorial in the FAQ on how to reinstall the proper way.
