There are various programs that will convert wavs into mp3s out there, a lot of mp3 players have that ability. You can also set whatever program you would like to play the .wav files if you want. For instance if you prefer winamp or windows media player to play wav files you can go into the option menu and select which file types you want to be associated with that program.
