Sniper Scope
 
The scope on my sniper rifle is not working all of the sudden and was wondering if anyone has heard of this before.

The bind is set to Mouse 2 so I don't think that's the problem. And it works when someone else is hostingan online game.

do you have any mods installed? sounds like you installed a server side anti-sniper mod

Is there a way to find and destroy that mod?

look at the pk3 files in your main directory, if you still can't find it then open them up in winzip and look for one with the file springfield.tik excluding the pak#s

It could also be one of your custom maps. One of them [cough]trenchwars[/cough] messed up my sniper scope until I removed it.

if that's the case open up the file and delete the tiks in there

Or just sort through your .PK3's one by one to see which is corrupt.
