Help! Weird box around the maps!
 

man, i go tthis weird box around every map i play in. its like a brush box when u make a map. its just a big box outline around every map. i want to show a picture of it but i have no where to host or i dont no how to attach one. Anyone know how to turn it off or anything??

please, if you know how to turn it off, HELP!!!! this just started happening with my new computer

I can't say with certainty, but a mapper friend of mine says turn off +set developer 1.

Damn, it looks like you're playing in a giant cube. I've never seen that before. If all else fails, reinstall, d00d.

actually it looks kinda cool. its like being able to see the 'holodeck' boundaries.

well, thanks but i never had set developer 1 on, i turned on and off all my thereisnomonkey stuff etc etc, and no luck. any other ideas plz help!

Have you upgraded or changed your video drivers recently?
also just for the heck of it, change color dept's.

Have you installed any type of mod? or any other 3rd party add on's????

Seriously though, if you find out what made this happen, tell me. I want to play with it on. It makes me feel like I'm in my own little omninificant world, like the locker creatures in MIB2! heh

i got a few mods like spr sound mod and all the aa.com maps... but plz help

I saw this once when playing around with the no fog crap. It doesnt help that actually makes my video drop textures in areas.

Look in your config file for any variety of the following
seta r_light_nolight 1
seta r_farplane_nofog 1
