have you tried using EA game support?
Hello I have no idea but you can try going to http://www.eagames.com and somewhere on their site you can send them an email to get their help. You have to register with them first which is no biggy....

Breakthrough Patch problems
Anyone else have problems playing single player campaigns after installing the Patch? After trying to load single player campaign games I get this msg

Yes there is a patcch to Breakthrough at http://www.eagames.com
Have to warn you though I had problems playing single player games since loading it. No problems with internet gaming but single...
