The M-14 looks "somewhat" but not the same as a M-1. However, it did not come into use until after WW2. It held a 20 rnd magazine--was single or auto. Whatever.

Try backing down a version number or so and see if that helps. Sometimes the very latest driver is not the best with EVERY...
