Main difference between G43 and K43 is that u cant fit a bayonet in a G43. (really dont know if that is for the bayonet, but is the main difference)

G43 and K43 are the same thing, G43 are the first production model and the name was changed later to K43. The G/K43 is long as a rifle , Karabine is a strange denomination. See the pics i post...

The K43 was used by special troops like...

The K43 was used by special troops like Fallschirmjägers and SS, not widely cos it was not very reliable, but it saw combat. Was used as Sniper Rifle too...
